Modular Construction:
The WIRELESS TRANSCEIVER (WTC)
uses standalone
hermetically sealed modules that can be mixed and
matched to meet any telemetry system requirement. If
there is a radio system already in place then the WTC
can be purchased without the SSR.
On the other hand, if the need is to provide a wireless
link between two existing sites that have RS232C or
RS485 ports available the WTC can be purchased
without the DC.
Multiple Ports:
The DC which is offered with several Input/Output
variations have three communications ports that provide
maximum flexibility in interfacing options. Each DC
has two RS232C ports, one of which can be configured as
a RS485 port and an Ethernet port.
Multiple Protocols:
Another key
feature is that the DC supports multiple protocols
allowing data interfacing between various manufactures'
products, both new and legacy.
Simplified Configuration:
No additional software is required for configuring the
WTC because the configuration routine is built in to the DC and
accessible using any computer with a WEB browser.
Spread Spectrum Technology:
Frequency Modulation and Frequency Hopping algorithms
ensures minimal interference from electrically noisy
equipment and other environmental factors that normally
degrade the integrity of wireless data telemetry.
Small Footprint:
The basic WTC building blocks fit into a less
than a 4 " X 4
" space.
